Welcome NPR listeners

Welcome NPR listeners!

Hello existing readers,

I was a panelist on NPR's News & Notes today... we talked about the future of existing civil rights organizations like the NAACP, CORE, and the National Action Network, the Dunbar Village incident, and also about the continuing speculation about Condoleeza Rice as Vice President.

Update: The audio for the show has been posted to the website. Listen to it now.

New Readers:

This is a non-partisan blog geared toward improving the quality of life for black women in America. Our readership is comprised of a wide variety of black women, all of whom are highly intelligent, witty, and dedicated to ending the racial, sexual, economic and social oppression that we experience.

Be sure to read our ongoing blog-series entitled, "The Queenly Art of Political Warfare," which will help you to understand some of the concepts that are mentioned in the posts and in the comments section.

Enjoy!

Ms Fenton I just found your blog today, from the npr site. I'm delighted at what have I've read so far. It's about time for African American women to become politically involved!

I will read your past issues. Thank you for speaking up for us all today.

Ha Ha... DJ Black Adam, you are reading my mind. I'm working on award symbols for Royal Pawns, Knights, Bishops, Queens and Kings.

We need a way to recognize each other.
